Purpose. General information about building a house in Oxford and Calhoun County, Alabama, and a way to send a request to a local home builder affiliated with this site. This site is not a builder. Any agreement for design or construction is between you and the builder.

Numbers. Each dollar figure traces to a cited cost guide, Census permit file or city fee schedule. None of them is an offer, a price quote or an appraisal.

Rules and loans. Our summaries point back to the public documents behind them. Rules, programs and requirements change, and every lot and borrower is different. Check with the city, county, health department, your lender or a lawyer before relying on anything here. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice.
